Springs on each side fold inwards, making the trap easy to carry. The trap measures a width of 20cm when full out. Adjustable balanced plate. Precision springs to ensure that the animal is caught first time, every time
Weighing 2.5kg, the trap has a jaw opening of 20cm (8 inch) and is based on a design which has been proved for over more than 20 years.
In use, the trap is concealed under a light sprinkling of earth, in the same manner as a rabbit trap. The mechanism is triggered when an animal places a foot on the metal plate and the animal is seized around the ankle by rubber lined steel jaws
